Discussion and Review of Oil, Politics, and Violence Book on #Nigeria

A Lagos book club in Nigeria discussed and reviewed my book Oil, Politics, and Violence at their book club meeting last weekend. Luckily they streamed their meeting via Facebook Live.

You can view their book discussion here.

  1. Dear Max Siollun,

I hope this finds you well.

The reason for my comment is to inform you of a new report published by Oxford Research Group’s Remote Warfare Programme which may be of interest given your research focus.

The report examines the effectiveness of the use of remote warfare by the Nigerian government, its regional allies and Western states to counter the threat of Boko Haram.

The report can be read here:

    Yours sincerely,

    Alasdair McKay
