Cabinet to Rule on Yar’Adua’s Status?

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/africa/8474669.stm

The Federal High Court has ordered the Federal Executive Council (cabinet) to rule on whether President Yar’Adua is still fit to lead the country. It also ruled that the cabinet should hear testimony about Yar’Adua’s condition from 5 doctors (one of whom has to be Yar’Adua’s doctor).

If the cabinet actually obeys the court ruling, it could begin the constitutional process for declaring the President unfit to carry out his duties – as I wrote about in a recent previous post:  https://maxsiollun.wordpress.com/2010/01/14/yaraduas-illness-and-nigerias-constitution-all-you-need-to-know/
