Is Yar’Adua a “Silent Achiever”?

Interesting article from the Economist claiming that President Yar’Adua is a “silent achiever”.  It commends him for the Niger Delta amnesty and for other attempts at reform. All around a good synopsis of the present situation in Nigeria.

  1. I have always believed that President Yar’Adua is a very calculating man who would never toot his own horn. Given sufficient time and less unnecessary crticisms from the likes of El Rufai, I think that Mr. Yar’Adua is on to some thing for the good of the country. His rule of law convinced he is the man of the moment. The inaccurate decription of him as “Baba Go Slow” is misleading and fails to credit his proclivity to look at thiings rather objectively insteading of leaping and then looking later. God just give him good health.
